Because this map is a material that shows how each of them traveled according to the story and where they made the songs, with the songs of AL “That’s why I quit music” and AL “Elma”. There is, but other than that, I feel like there is a little mechanism.

That’s why it’s not just written, there’s a reason for this, and it’s a specification like this. It is a review that I should write as much as I can notice it.

So first of all. It’s about map markings.When I saw this on Twitter, I feel like the reason wasn’t clear.

I guess it’s because there are quite a few listeners who haven’t read Elma’s diary on the first limited edition of AL “Elma”.

Now, the first limited edition of AL “Elma” is traded at a very high price, so it’s hard to buy, so I think it can’t be helped. As for the handwriting, in Elma’s diary, most of the handwriting consists of “Elma’s handwriting that imitates Amy’s handwriting.” Elma worshiped Amy so much that she took care of the contents of the wooden box (the lyrics of the song “That’s why I quit music” and the letter) that Amy sent me, and wrote a diary by imitating the handwriting. I’m here.

This Elma’s trip to Sweden is to follow in the footsteps of Amy, whom she worshiped. Rather than a pilgrimage to sacred places, it means following the same path as someone you respect. As part of that, when I wrote my diary, I was imitating Amy. However, as a result of my trip to Sweden, I reached the goal of how I should live and what I should do, and stopped imitating Amy.

In the AL “Elma”, the handwriting of the lyrics is remarkable in the diary part where the song “Amy” is written. The lyrics are written in Elma’s original handwriting. In the original handwriting of Elma. And about this map, most of this map is written in “Elma’s original handwriting”. Also, this is the point from here, but this map is written after (or in the middle) after returning from the trip.

I’m not just going to Sweden, but I’m writing without missing anything in order to accurately tour the scenery that Amy saw and photographed. Therefore, I think that the surplus part should be thought of as Elma’s travel bookmark memo making.

On the other hand, the red part is the actual activity record of Elma after actually going to Sweden. In particular, the red date is a record of what month and day Elma arrived at this place, and how long she stayed in the city. That date and the date in “Elma’s Diary” match. Also, the map has a photo attached with masking tape, but the letters on the masking tape are also in red, so it can be said that Elma took the photo while traveling (Amy took it. I don’t know if it might be mixed too.).

Come to think of it, in the “Elma Review” article I wrote, I used google maps to create a map.

There may be some differences, but in general, I was satisfied with the way I traveled. In fact, it was quite fun to trace each city with this map or google map. You can see things like what a foreign land is made of, or what festivals are held in that city on the internet.

Back to the reward map.

Elma writes where to go and what month and day Amy made the song, but there is a blue line under the song title. Many of the songs are from Gotland.

By the way, “Let’s Dance” is written on the sea on June 15th, so I wonder if it was written while moving from Stockholm to Gotland by boat.

Now, let’s talk about the map part again. At the bottom left of the map is Piece of notebook written along the order of “That’s why I quit music”A piece of brown hair written in the order of “Elma”is attached with masking tape.

“So~” is written exactly as it is, but for “Elma”, the song is written in black and the date is written in red. The song was written while I was traveling, so it will inevitably be red, but I wrote it in black, and only the date was written as a result of the actual trip, which is the month and day. Did you want to express yourself?

There is no song called “Nautilus” in these two scraps. Instead, there’s a photo of the pier in the space next to the scrap, and a piece of masking tape that says “9/8 Nautilus” on it.

The song “That’s why I quit music” is written as a collection of songs rather than a single song. (I’ll leave it aside for the time being if Amy left only poetry or if there was a song as well. I’ll use the term “work” = “music” roughly.)

As for the interpretation of this part of Nautilus, Amy decided not to include this “Nautilus” in AL’s work, “That’s why I quit music,” which expresses her life, rather than physical. I couldn’t put it in the target. Probably because the work “That’s why I quit music” was completed and put in a wooden box so that the work itself could not be changed. Finally, just before he died, he tried to write a song addressed to Elma, but there was no way to give it to him, so he had no choice but to put it in his guitar case. It becomes “Nautilus”. I think that “Nautilus” is also addressed to Elma, but as a song addressed to Elma, there is a song “Elma” in the album. This should be a duplicate.

On the other hand, Elma is trying to make an album that will be paired with AL “Dara~” as the composition of AL “Elma”, so the content of the song also has the meaning of an answer song. Until now, I thought that the answer song for the song “Dara~” was “Nautilus”, but looking at this scrap, I conclude that there is no answer song for the song “Dara~”. Waited for my daughter to fall asleep. AL “Elma” does not answer everything. However, 13 songs other than AL “Dara~” and 13 songs other than Nautilus from AL “Elma” can be arranged neatly.

From here on, my hypothesis.

Amy is the point. Amy might have thought that she would have created the AL “So~” and sent it to Elma, so to speak, to have her follow it in the same way as she did. I may be thinking too much, but I suddenly thought that I wanted you to follow me, create your work, and die, even if you didn’t realize it. (Even in Elma’s diary, Amy said she hopes Elma will grow up.)

That leads to wanting Elma to embody “The value of life is how it ends”. Then, receiving the work from Amy, Elma also started traveling in Sweden, imitating Amy and following in Amy’s footsteps. Thinking about it, if Elma were able to reach Amy’s final moments, wouldn’t she have chosen “death” as the way to end her life by imitating Amy in the same way?

Therefore, the reason why this AL “Elma” does not have an answer song for the song “Dara~” is because AL “Elma” is not complete. The completion of AL “Elma” means the end of Elma’s life, that is, it will lead to “death”.

You know, because there was a song called “Nautilus.”

For the song “Nautilus”, after Amy completed her AL “So~”, Amy herself told Elma that she shouldn’t let Elma follow the same path (complete the work and choose death) to the end. It may be what I wrote. As a result, Elma no longer follows the same path. In Elma’s diary, Elma, who was in a state of not knowing what to do, may not have had the same idea from the beginning, but in any case, this song “Nautilus” changed Elma’s way of thinking. I’m sure.

When I think about such things, “Nautilus” becomes a song of another dimension that does not fit into two ALs. It might be a good idea to position it as a work that expresses the relationship between each other, rather than a work that expresses each other’s lives. In that sense, it may be a song that starts and a song that wakes you up.
